Business Processes Classes

ECAS (Electronic Course Authorization System)
Designed for staff responsible for the submission and approval of all semester-based courses. ECAS is also used for editing semester course information for current course and curriculum catalogs, and for the review and approval of Liberal Education requirements. Courses that have gone through the approval process in ECAS are available to be scheduled through the use of the Electronic Course Scheduling system (ECS).

To receive access to ECAS:
1) an Access Request Form (ARF) should be submitted to Data Security (form is at http://www1.umn.edu/datasec/security/Requestingaccess.html)
2) an e-mail requesting access should be sent to the Training Team at srhelp@umn.edu.

Once Data Security processes the ARF and notifies the Training Team, documentation will be sent to the requester.
